| Hello my name is Angela Taylor. I was born in Santa Barbara California, I grew up in Las Vegas and I come from a large family of five. I spent most of the early part of my life living with my father, who always tried to keep me busy with activities and hobbies such as, basketball, tap/jazz, baton twirling and gymnastics... just a few things that were on my agenda!
I really enjoyed gymnastics, but as time went on, I became too tall and that left me no alterative but to give it up. Needing something to fill that void I joined a singing group called "Reflections". We participated in performances all over. I think that's when and where I acquired my passion for music!
By this time my dad had remarried and his wife was studying photography and always had these assignments due for her class. I was more than happy to volunteer to be the model in the picture. Even thought it wasn't necessary, I would always dress up and put on make-up. By the time she took the pictures to class they were probably all wondering who the clown in the picture was. Well, what do you expect? I was no make-up artist at 12 years old. At the time Madonna was just hitting it big with "Material Girl" so you can imagine the shots. I guess you can say that this was my first experience as a model?
When I turned 13, I decided to go live with my mother. How my life changed! Where as my dad would always make sure that I did my homework, went to school, obeyed curfew, and had somewhat of a dress "code", my mother was the complete opposite and fell into more of a "friend" role. Meaning she made very little rules and guidelines for me to abide by. Having a boyfriend, having boys OVER, dressing how I wanted too, and NO curfew were now some of the wonderful "liberties" I enjoyed. Eventually things began getting to get out of hand, as you would expect, and my mother tried to put her foot down. That led to me moving out and making my way to California to follow my dreams for a successful modeling/music career.
My career started out slow but then began to pick up quite rapidly and before I knew it I was able to land my first job appearing in Playboy's Latin Girls! I also appeared in a few commercials after that, Bally's fitness' Natural light, and Coors just to name a few. I also was a back up singer/dancer for Julio Inglesias on his "Noche de Quattro Lunas" tour. That was an experience I would never trade or forget! Right now I currently am pursuing a music career and I perform in a group called DNA. It's a lot of hard work but I'm very dedicated and love every bit of it!
When I'm at home relaxing, I enjoy my time tanning, shopping, and hanging with my friends. I've also recently started fashion and interior design. I've decorated a few apartments that came out looking gorgeous. Right now I just design clothes for myself to wear out. The response to them has been surprising!
