| Hello I'm Renae Sommer. I was born in Ft. Lauderdale Florida on a beautiful sunny morning in September. I have one older sister and one younger brother. Growing up with the ocean nearby taught me to love the water and many water activities. I would have to say that boating and waterskiing are my absolute favorite to do. I can remember when I was very young, my dad would dad pack up the car, gather us up and we'd drive up the coast a little way to where our boat was docked. Some of the best times I remember were of spending the whole weekend together and floating around on the water. I learned how to water-ski just about the same time that I could tie my own shoes! Between the many water sports to basking in the sun there was more than one occasion where I would end up extremely sunburned. Lucky for me it would always turn in to a nice tan. So I never minded that much. Aside from boating, and waterskiing, I love to swim and hike. I practice Bikram yoga and work out regularly. When I have spare time I like to train in kickboxing also. Anything that keeps you active is a plus in my book! (You can add shopping in there too!) *smile*
When I was a little girl I had dreams of being a supermodel and traveling around the world. I wanted to be famous! So after lots of begging and seeing my genuine enthusiasm, my mom took me to a few talent agencies. You can imagine how thrilled I was when one of the agencies signed me to a contract. I was on my way! By the age of 13, I landed my first major modeling job and things started to take off. Modeling has taken me to many different countries and exotic places. I have been in many commercial print ads, posters, national ad campaigns and various other genres of media. I am very grateful for the opportunities that have been given to me because of modeling. I savor every moment of it!
Right now I am currently pursing a career in graphic design . Taking design classes and doing freelance work, has been very enjoyable for me. I don't know exactly where I would like to go with design so In the mean time I'm still actively pursue my modeling career and as always looking for new and exciting adventures! |
