I finished High School in 1996 and from there I went to USC for a year majoring in Psychology. During that time I was discovered and started modeling. Modeling took off for me and I made a decision to pursue it 100%. I definitely feel that I made the right decision. I plan to go back and complete my degree in Psychology in the sometime in the near future.

I am the oldest sibling of 5, and amusingly enough, I am also the most petite one in my family! I have 2 younger brothers and 2 younger sisters. My family is a huge emotional support for me and I love them very much! We have always been very close to one another. My dad is one of my idols and I have always looked up to him. Growing up I always knew he was there for me. He's the one who taught me to be a strong minded individual and to stand up for whatever I believe in. He's my hero!

Whenever I have a little spare time I like to roller blade, play tennis or go to the gym and work out. I stay active most of the time so I'm very athletic. I love most sports. My favorites are volleyball, baseball, tennis, and racquetball. I play tennis with my sister every chance I get! I'd like to say I'm a great cook too! I definitely have a really big appetite, so I always try to cook a lot of food! I enjoy Thai, Korean and Italian cuisine. Yummy! I have one big "weakness"... collecting shoes. I love to collect shoes! When I say love I mean LOVE! I probably have over one hundred pairs of shoes in my closet right now. When I start to run out of room I just pack up a few pairs and give them to a charity. Something else that I really like to do is play my guitar. I find it very relaxing. I enjoy all different kinds of music. I often close my eyes and listen to the lyrics just get swept away.

I am single right now and I don't know if I'm ready to settle down just yet. I think when I find that "certain someone" I'll know it in my heart. I have this thought in my head that my "Mr. Right" will come to me when I least expect it. I'm a bit of a romantic... can you tell? *smiles*

I feel a big highlight in my career has been starting and operating my very own website. www.teannakailive.com. I had no idea how much work was involved with having a website. I have enjoyed the process and have learned so much along the way. I am truly grateful for all the opportunities that have come along. At this point in my life I've been very focused on my career. I've branched out into some mainstream acting and that has been a wonderful experience! As for now, I plan to keep modeling and moving forward in my acting. This career has been wonderful to me and I have much planned for my future!
